Key Biscayne - Stiltsville

We are relaxing on a lovely day in Biscayne Bay just outside of No Name Harbor. We can see the Cape Florida Lighthouse and Stiltsville.

Stiltsville is a group of houses on stilts about a mile off shore in Biscayne Bay. They were built in the time of Prohibition by folks who didn’t like the law and wanted somewhere to drink and gamble. Over time, too much partying, neglect and eventually Hurricane Andrew took their toll and only 7 of the 27 remain. They are part of the Biscayne National Park.

Guess who is learning how to make photo collages with an iPad?
